PAR is the amount of light that’s usable to corals and plants – wavelengths that will be used for photosynthesis. Just like the garden is not your whole yard (usually), PAR is not the measure of all of the light a light source gives off, but the measurement of the wavelengths corals and plants will absorb.
We have prepared PAR maps using the 120cm ORION ONE mounted at different heights from the aquarium.
(Note: following PAR map is for the ZOPTUS – ORION ONE – BLUE PLUS, the only difference is in the color spectrum)
